Every child deserves a chance.

Our Mission
Education changes everything. So does breakfast.
Rossholme School sits in the middle of Kiambiu, one of Nairobi's poorest informal settlements, in classrooms previously made of corrugated tin and breeze block. Inside, 525 children aged 3 to 12 are learning to read, to count, to imagine a different future.
Most of them are here for free because their families could never afford the fees of an ordinary Kenyan school. So we cover everything: the building, the teachers, the uniforms, the
books, the lockers, the security guard, and a breakfast and lunch every single
school day.
Meet the Headteacher
She refused to give up.
Now 525 children won't have
to either.
Joyce Aruga grew up the youngest of eleven children on Mageta Island, by Lake Victoria. At fourteen, her family told her she would become the third wife of a much older man.
She ran. She made it to Nairobi alone, found work as a maid, and used every shilling she earned to fight her way through secondary school and then teacher training. In September 2016, she opened the doors of Rossholme Education Centre with six small children. Today there are 525.

£15 feeds a child for a month.
Rossholme is funded almost entirely by the kindness of volunteers. Every pound you give travels straight to Kiambiu: no admin charges, no middle layer. You can give in either of two ways.
